Another beautiful day in Quebec.
We are now riding through very fertile farming land on the cote du sud (south shore) of the St. Lawrence river. It was a bit tricky getting out of Levis and finding Hwy 132, but once we did it was clear sailing ⛵️. A very flat route with mostly favourable winds helped although the heat and humidity slowed us down somewhat. Dave and I stopped at a microbrasserie for and early lunch. A microbrasserie is a small brewpub where they make their own beer and serve small plates of food. The owner was full of stories and although he couldn't sell us any beer to take with us (they just got their canning machines and said we were a week too early) he did direct us to another microbrasserie that we would be riding by tomorrow.

We also played leapfrog with a couple of Quebec riders who were obviously very hungry because any time we passed them they were parked at different restaurants.
We did ride approximately the last 10 km with them where they stopped to hop in their huge bus/trailer. They started in Vancouver and are riding to Rimouski to finish (where they live). It was great chatting with them. That is one thing we really enjoy about this trip - meeting all different people from all over Canada and the world.

Great day ending in a beautiful little village Saint Jean Port Joli.
Cheers,
Nancy and Dave
