Well, it was a hard day today as we had to say goodbye to Mike as he had a small mishap on the road and is unable to continue with us. We spent the day with him in Thunder Bay. We brought one of his bikes in and dropped it at Fresh Air to be packed up for the trip home. Also some of his clothes. We miss him already.
Other than that, Nancy and Dave went into downtown Nipigon for lunch and during their time there investigated the two routes, Hwy 11-that we had planned to take and Hwy 17 where most bikers go. They talked to locals, the tourist Bureau, OPP and all said that 17 was the way to go for less big truck traffic and less bugs, and more civilization. After reviewing with Greg and I, we decided to change our route up yet again and go Hwy 17. We will be in North Bay, if all goes well, only 1 day behind schedule. We spent some time rerouting and finding RV parks after dinner.
All tired and to bed early.
